If you are a foreigner undergoing hemodialysis and live in or have a plan to visit Gwang-ju city of S. Korea, you can contact us by e-mail (e-mail address : cnuh71@hanmail.net), and schedule an appointment for hemodialys. Our hemodialysis unit opens from 7:00 A.M to 3:00 P.M from Monday to Saturday. But, you should make a reservation for the exact time and inform us full medical data about you in detail and in advance. You should fill in a brief transfer record shown at the end of this introduction and send it back to us.

We use two kinds of hemodialysis machine ; 4008S of Fresenius Medical Care and formula 2000 of Bellco, and ultrapure water produced by double pass reverse osmosis system. We have variable size of low-flux and high-flux dialyzers which can be applied according to individual condition. In addition, we can do on-line hemodiafiltration. We isolate patients with hepatitis B or hepatitis C virus to the appointed machines. A nephrology specialist and skillful nurses will take care of you.

Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service have been testing quality of hemodialysis units since 2009. We were granted as a best grade of hemodialysis institute in succession for 2 years since 2009 by Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service.

The average cost of hemodialys for 4 hours is about 140,000-150,000 won per session and if you are under usual Korean national health insurance, it will be about 14,000-15,0000 won per session. But it may be increased accoding to the added medications, needed tests, and dialysis solutions used.

We may recommend you to move to a bigger hospital if we judge that you are not in appropriate condition for hemodialysis in our hospital anytime even just before or during hemodialysis. In any situation, we will always do our best for your health and for your profit.
